Botmetric Cost-to-Date View

One other functionality I’d like to point out if you’re using Botmetric is their highly-accurate Cost-to-Date View.

You can download the information as csv or as an image, which is useful when having to make cost reports.

Botmetric also is implementing a feature I requested where not only to do you see Cost-to-Date, but Projected-Monthly-Cost for both Services and Linked Accounts (and more coming). Below is an image of Cost Projection in its early stage:

AWS has it’s equivalent, AWS Cost Explorer, found by clicking your name in the top black bar, choosing “Billing and Cost Management” (free!), then on the left navigation bar choosing “Cost Explorer”.

This multi-page interface has great tools in addition to AWS Cost Explorer. The image below doesn’t do this service justice, because this is a brand new account I took a screenshot of for you:

Take notice of AWS’s great offering for new accounts, their “Free Tier”. AWS does this so you can become familiar with most of their services for 1 year before you have to start paying. #gottaluvAWS!

Take note of the highlighted sections on the left navigation bar. There are some great features for you to use to help control costs on AWS!
